Our "Big "5" Course explores the: Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Buffalo and Rhino. We also include a Component on Approaching Dangerous Game. Each species is examined to reveal their full biology and ecology.

Our Mountain Guiding Course presents a distillation of the wisdom and experience gained from 100 years of mountaineering in South Africa and elsewhere. Respect for the mountains, both for their challenges and their hazards, can only be learnt by being exposed to them, preferably under the guidance of a competent leader. This course however, provides a valuable adjunct to experience; the novice will be assisted in learning about mountain leadership and how to behave in the mountains; the more experienced mountaineer or hiker will use it to consolidate his or her knowledge, fill in the gaps and learn new skills. The Course is FREE for all students, however the Certificate, only for those who want it, may be redeemed at a cost of R 100.

Our Elephant: Facts & Fables Course was written by world-renowned elephant expert, Professor Rudi van Aarde, Director of the Conservation Ecology Research Unit based at the University of Pretoria, this short-course critically examines the elephant management question. The course addresses some of the less than factual generalisations that dominate discussions on elephant management by posing and answering key questions and statements pertaining to this species' ecology. Ultimately it attempts to answer the Culling Question. The information presented here stems from more than a decade of intensive academic research on elephant populations throughout Southern Africa.

Our Predator Management on Livestock Farms Course was originally written for the Landmark Foundation as a paper-based manual for farmers, this course has been revised for the wildlife manager, land owner, wildlife enthusiast and of course, the livestock farmer. This is a most important, useful and practical course for all those who are on either side of the Predator / Livestock conflict. If you are seeking or merely interested in non-lethal, holistic, ecologically acceptable and ethical management strategies to deal with predator/livestock farming conflicts, then this course is for you. If it's your Predators who are being indiscriminately targeted for Lethal Control, Login and begin immediately.

Our Discovering Wilderness Course comes to us from The Wilderness Safaris Group. We take a look at the Ecology, People, Wilderness Projects, Wildlife and Safari lodges of Botswana, Zimbabwe, Namibia and South Africa.
