Component This component highlights the different levels in basic food chains within which the learner can suddenly find him/herself. It also describes the difference between the biotic (living) and abiotic (non-living) factors that may influence the survival effort in the African Bushveld. It also provides for useful outsmarting strategies by providing examples of competition, mutualism and adaptation.
