Component 160 can be found in South Africa, and of these only 18 are potentially dangerous or fatal to man. This course investigates most of the aspects that deal with snakes including : their origin, general characteristics, differing dentition, external morphology, colouration, senses, feeding techniques, mating and reproduction, locomotion, venom types, thermoregulation and hibernation.
