Component The main aim of this component is to achieve an understanding of the different forms in which animals choose to group together. The nine different grouping examined are : solitary, pairing, the family unit, harems, matriarchies, oligarchies, temporary association, aggregations and caste systems. Monogamy, polygamy and polyandry are also investigated.
